This was a hard one as I don't use purple very often. The color combo challenge is to use pumpkin pie, pale plum and crushed curry together on your project. I had this patterened paper on hand in one of my DCWV stacks and although can't tell from the picture it is beautiful and glittery. Let me know what you think! You can check out the challenge at

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun Card! Great work
ReplyDeleteI can see that it is embossed in the background, or is it cuttlebug'd? BEE U T FUL job!! So many people (including myself)had trouble with this challenge!! I too don't use purple very much. Or orange for that matter!! Isn't it awesome the way these color combos take you out of your comfort zone?
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for playing with us at SPCC this week!!
love this card! it's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the wonderful comments. Danielle, the background is just stamped with a flourish stamp. I did actually emboss a base with the paisley cuttlebug folder but it was just too much when I tried it out on my card. I do love my cuttlebug though! I am so happy I found this challenge site as I do need to get out of my comfort zone sometimes and try new color combos.
