Fable Friends

Just received my Fable Friends stamp set in the mail and couldn't wait to make a quick card with it!  I also received my Gingham Gala paper in the mail.....it just came off backorder!!!!  Yeah!!!  This paper is so cute and perfect for those Easter projects!!!  The ribbon on this card is the Whisper White Flax ribbon.  I can't wait to ink up the other stamps in this set.

Paper Pumpkin Extra

Here is a sweet card I made from the stamp set that came with this month's Paper Pumpkin.  Love this little teacup planter!!  I used Bermuda Bay cardstock and a print in Bermuda Bay from the Brights Designer Series Paper.  I also used Bermuda Bay mini chevron ribbon that I just purchased off the clearance rack recently (be sure to check there regularly for some great deals).  I colored the image with my favorite Stampin Blends!!  Love how Stampin Up has everything you need to make a project from start to finish and all coordinating!!  The sweet sentiment is from the Sale-A-Bration freebie set called Lasting Lily.

I don't know why I don't use my vellum more as I LOVE the look!  This gorgeous floral from the All for You stamp set in the new Occasions Catalog was stamped in Versamark and then embossed with white embossing powder.  I colored the image from the back side with my amazing Stampin Blends markers in Daffodil Delight and Old Olive.  This technique gives such a beautiful soft look!  I paired it with a piece of designer series paper in the brights collection and some of this gorgeous polka dot tulle ribbon in whisper white.  The greeting was stamped with a stamp also from the All for You stamp set and then cut out with a framelit from the Stitched Shapes framelits set.  Here is a closer look:

It's Been Too Long!!!

WOW!!!  It's been a really long time since I've posted anything.  My hubby retired and we moved to Indiana.  My boys are now in college and I have one about to start middle school.....where has the time gone?
