Baby Girl
I had to put together a baby shower card super fast and this is what I came up with. I love tone on tone with lots of texture! That cute stamp is from the new Label Love stamp set. This set has a coordinating punch (Artisan Label) .... you know how I love to have a coordinating punch or framelit as I hate to fussy cut.

Sweet Flower
Can you guess what shape I used to make those flower petals???? Believe it or not it is the full heart punch ! Ever since I saw Connie Collins' card here I couldn't wait to try it. It was so super easy to make and is a great way to use up those scraps of your favorite patterned papers. This is that awesome Sycamore Street DSP from Sale-a-bration. Love how this turned out....will definitely be using this technique again!

Aloha
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this "scribble" technique. Not sure if that is the proper term but that is technically what you do is just scribble your background on with markers. I was going for a sunset look here. I used the Fabulous Florets stamp set for my main image. The "aloha" was just a local stamp I picked up somewhere, however, I used my go to punches the word window punch which layers beautifully on the modern label punch. I added some burlap for a little added decoration and I was done! I made 25 plus of these for invitations to a goodbye dinner for some friends of ours and it only took me a very short time to mass produce these. I will definitely be using this technique the next time I need some cute projects in a hurry!
I hope everyone is having a WONDERFUL Memorial Day weekend. God Bless all of our men and women who have served and are serving our beautiful country.
Mojo Monday Challenge
I finally found time to play along with Mojo Monday's Challenge although I'm too late to participate this week. I just recently ordered the Best of Flowers stamp set and I LOVE it! I stamped these beauties in marina mist (one of my all time favorite blues) and old olive. I just used my markers to ink up my stamp so I could get both colors on one stamp. I'm still amazed how easy it is to do this! That gorgeous patterned paper is from the Beau Chateau DSP which is retiring....don't forget to go check out all the deals on the retiring accessories and the clearance rack before they are all gone! The new catalog starts in just a few days! Stampin Up is letting us order early this year since the 1st falls on the weekend so we can begin ordering on the 31st of May (that sentiment on the card above is from one of the new hostess sets that is full of wonderful sentiment stamps in that gorgeous font).

Happy Graduation!
Isn't this just too fun! You won't believe how easy these are to make! Here is the tutorial I found. She always has awesome tutorials and if you scroll down she even has a tutorial showing how to make the cute tassles! I used the Perfect Pennants Die to make the "V's". The background is embossed with the Stripes Embossing Folder. The Happy Graduation sentiment I used came from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.....LOVE that one.....has something for almost every occasion!
Hope all of you Moms out there are having a Wonderful Mother's Day weekend!

Watercolor Love!
This card uses the beautiful Love & Sympathy stamp set. We made this card at my stamp and stack also and it was a favorite. We used Marina Mist and Old Olive (I believe that is the right green) markers to ink our flowers and everyone was amazed at how easy the marker to stamp technique is and how well it stamps! That gorgeous texture peeping out is the Honeycomb Embossing Folder. I apologize as I can't find the original pin where I saw this card either. I have to stop pinning and start creating original works...LOL!

Take Care
This sweet card uses the Take Care stamp set and the Bird Builder Punch. The sentiment is from Petite Pairs and I used the Scallop Rectangle Clearlit for the "sign" .....I hate to see it go but it is retiring and is on sale right now for only $4.50 ..... be sure to check out all the accessories and stamps that are retiring.....there are some really good deals! You can find everything here. I also used the Woodgrain Embossing Folder that is being carried over from the holiday catalog! It's quickly becoming one of my favorites! The sweet ladies at my stamp and stack made this card also.....I know I saw the idea on someone's blog but I can't find it again.....I must have forgotten to pin it.....so sorry I apologize.

Ok....Ok....Just One More.... for Now!
I know you are probably getting anxious for me to move on to another stamp set ..... I promise this is the last one for a little while at least. I have a couple of other projects to share that don't involve By the Tide ... LOL! This card is one that we made last week at my stamp and stack...I have so much fun having ladies come over and stamp with me! For this project I wish I could say this was an original idea but alas I saw it on guess where.....pinterest. Here is the post from the original. I used some inexpensive muslin fabric to stamp on and the sentiment is placed in one of Stampin Up's Soda Pop Tops. I don't know what it is about flattening a soda pop top with my big shot that is so much fun but everyone at my stamp and stack agreed that it was a great stress reliever....LOL! There are so many fun things you can do with these! I will share a necklace I made soon. A couple of the ladies were playing around with the smaller size (one on this project above is the larger size) and as I watched them work I thought what a super cute charm bracelet we could make with those! Probably someone out there as done that already but if so, I haven't seen it yet. I'm working on one now....I'll be sure to share when I get it completed.

By the Tide Again...
While my friend and I were playing with the card I posted yesterday we also made the card above based on this one which I found on pinterest! I inked up some retired patterned paper I had left over and then white embossed that gorgeous seaweed fan from By the Tide .....I wish you could actually see this IRL and feel the raised embossing....so cool! Just wanted to share another look made with this same fun stamp set.....if you scroll down a week or so you can check out my seahorse "hair gel" card....guess what....it's this same stamp set....totally different look. I will definitely be playing with this one more in the near future!!! This stamp set is in the spring mini.......hope it makes the cut to the new main catalog....he! he! he!

Happy Mother's Day
I saw this on pinterest and couldn't wait to try it! There are so many fun things on there that I don't think I'll ever get everything made I want to try my hand at...LOL! This is a project we made at my stamp and stack last week. We used the Floral Frames Framelits to make the sunflower. The stamp sets used for the front are Daydream Medallions, Mixed Bunch and Teeny Tiny Wishes. The Blossom punch coordinates with the Mixed Bunch stamp set making life so easy....hee! hee! .....I can't stand to fussy cut! I used the 7/8 Scallop punch for the center of the smaller flower. I think that covers the front so now let me share my favorite part:
I wish I could have taken a better photo but it doesn't stand on it's own so I had to lean it against the easel. I think you can get the idea though.
By The Tide
Isn't this just one of the cutest cards you've ever seen? My friend and neighbor saw it here and we couldn't wait to try it. I must admit we started out trying to brayer the color on and I found that I have a lot to learn about brayering.....LOL! We ended up sponging our island indigo and crumb cake on and found that super quick and easy and we both loved the results. Our "white foam spots" are from flicking (I'm sure there is a technical term for that but.....) bleach on our cardstock and LOVE that look!!!! At first there were just a few tiny spots but as the bleach went to work this is what we got! The only stamp set we used is By the Tide.....I can't believe I waited so long to order this set. It is a huge stamp set for the price! I am loving it. So many different looks you can get! This card doesn't even use the super cute lobster, seahorse or fish! We heat embossed all the writing in white and added a strip of burlap and what a cute card we ended up with!!! So doing these techniques again!!! Don't forget to check out the retiring stamps and accessories here . The accessories are selling out fast and only this month to get your order in for any stamp sets that are retiring, too! The new catalog goes live May 31st!!!! Just wait until you see the new in colors!!!!! AMAZING!!

Two Tags Bookmarks
I can't remember where I first saw this so I apologize for not giving credit, however, I've seen this all over blogland. It uses the Two Tags Bigz Die ..... just cut your paper and fold it before the upper cut line and there you go....add some magnets and decorate and you have a bookmark. I used the By the Tide stamp set for the decorative circle....fits right in the 1" Circle Punch. I layered it with scallop punches....super fast super easy project!

Blue Posies
Here is another card I found on pinterest and couldn't wait to case! You can find the pin here. Those gorgeous flowers are from the Pleasant Poppies stamp set! I'm loving this stamp set....I purchased it a while ago but just pulled it out and started playing with it and now I'm wondering what took me so long! The background was made using the En Francais stamp and a medallion stamp set that has retired but Hello, Doily is very similar and would work just as well if not better.

Pleasant Poppies on Kraft!
I saw this card on pinterest and couldn't wait to try it! Can I just say I know love white embossing on kraft? I will definitely be doing this more often! I stamped Pleasant Poppies with Versamark and then embossed with white. I initially tried coloring with my Copic markers which I love but they are opaque enough that I couldn't get that vibrant color. I truly can say I love my Stampin Up markers better for this technique!!!

Sweet Butterflies!
This was another fun card to make! I found it on pinterest and couldn't wait to make it! You can check out the "original" here. I used the largest butterfly from the Kindness Matters stamp set and colored them with the awesome Stampin Up Watercolor Pencils (so sorry to see them go). I used the negative space from the 1" Square Punch to sponge some crumb cake ink to give the butterflies a little background. I then punched them out with the Postage Stamp Punch. After that I placed them on tag made from the Two Tags Bigz Die. That beautiful texture was made using the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder......LOVE that!!! That gorgeous polka dot paper is from the Polka Dot Parade Designer Paper......LOVE that, too!!!! The sweet sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.....if I could only have one sentiment set I think it would be this one....it covers almost everything! Hope it isn't on the retirement list!!!

Under the Sea!
Talk about a card fun to make....this one is actually super quick and easy but oh so fun to make and by the way my daughter has been playing with it .... I feel I can safely say it will be super fun for the recipient also! I wish I could say that I had the idea for this one myself but alas I have to give credit to someone else...LOL! Dawn from Dawn's Stamping Thoughts made this one and she gives a wonderful tutorial!!! I'm not sure how much you can tell from the photo but it looks as if the seahorses are under water! I used a small 3x4 ziploc type bag and put some hair gel in it....I love that it has bubbles in it! My daughter loves feeling it and pushing the gel around with her finger to make the bubbles move. I used the amazing By The Tide stamp set that is in the holiday mini....I so hope that this one doesn't retire!!! FYI....the SU retirement list comes out on the 24th of this month!!! This card was made so easy by using the Ovals Collection Framelits. I just used two sizes to make the frame around the image.

Sweet Easter Bunny
Aren't these sweet? My daughter is so excited about Easter so I'm putting these out for her and the boys to find at breakfast in the morning as a sort of pre-Easter surprise. At least it spaces the candy out a little...LOL! These are so easy to make....just lots of ovals....Stampin Up's Oval Framelits make it so much easier! You can mass produce these pretty quickly! My ovals are a little "fatter" than the SU set...I think I'm going to have to order a set off the SU ones! As usual for me I can't take credit for this cute idea...I saw it on the Stampin Up Blog here and on pinterest. You can probably see some of the candy peeking out the back.....there is actually a little box on the back. Here are a couple of close-ups:
If you thought about signing up to become a demonstrator during Sale-A-Bration to take advantage of the special, but didn't get around to it then you are in luck! This and That
Ok....ladies let's be honest......we all have loads and loads of photos just waiting to be scrapbooked. We have wonderful intentions of making beautiful pages to document those special everyday moments but there just aren't enough hours in the day! When we do get time to work on something then we find that we have forgotten some of the details about that day...that trip....what we were doing in that photo....where we were in that photo....etc. Journaling becomes very generic because we can't remember everything we wanted to document. Stampin Up is introducing the This and That collection. A wonderful journal that you can carry in your purse and right away document those special moments....keep memorabilia right there....no hunting through shoeboxes for ticket stubs, etc. This new line will be in the new catalog, however, Stampin Up has made it available to us early....YEAH!! Check it out here:
You can purchase items individually OR as a bundle and take advantage of a special discount!!! Check it all out here!

Carrot Treats!
Can you believe it is almost Easter?! I was so busy prepping for the baby shower that I sooo lost track of time! Can you believe I didn't take photos of most of the baby shower decor? I think one of my friends did so I'll ask so I can post some of it on my blog...LOL! Anywho....I wanted to make some treats for my daughter to take to preschool and my hubby to take to work so this is what I found. Of course, again....I can't take credit....I've seen them several times before but this is where I found a wonderful tutorial...here. These are so easy to make!!! I used a scallop circle punch, 1 3/8 circle punch, word window punch and the modern label punches to make my sentiment. The Happy Easter is from Teeny Tiny Wishes. Don't forget Sale-A-Bration is almost over...ends March 22 so only a few more days to take advantage of some amaziing freebies!!! For every $50 you spend you get to pick something for FREE from the Sale-A-Bration items!!! Also....My Paper Pumpkin is in full swing....I received my notice that my kit has shipped!!! If you want to join in you must sign up before the 10th of April to get your welcome kit and then you will receive an amazing kit each month and it is only $19.95 shipping included. Baby Shower Invites
I'm getting ready to cohost a baby shower and when I saw these cute onsies on pinterest I knew I had to try them! There is a great tutorial here . Love how easy these are to make! I used MDS to print out that sweet polka dot patterned paper...yeah!!! I'm getting a little more comfortable with the digital side of things....not much but a little...LOL! The hardest part was getting the wording lined up so that it was all in place once I made my cuts and punches. I can't believe it has been almost 20 days since I posted....so sorry! I've been so busy getting scrapbook pages prepped for this baby shower that I've lost track of time. One of our "games" is going to be putting together srapbook pages so our expectant mother will have a book all ready to go to keep track of all those "firsts".

Valentine Treats
I wanted something cute for my daughter to take her preschool treats in and this is what I came up with. I've shared this tutorial before but just in case you are new to my blog here are the instructions to score and cut this super cute milk carton box. Unfortunately that super cute heart shaped sentiment stamp is no longer available but....there are some other cute stamps that would work. I filled it with some cute little Valentine goodies I picked up at Walmart...some candy, of course, but also some bubbles, stamps, etc. This box actually holds quite a bit. The little heart clip on top came from Walmart also...it was in the Valentine goodies and I just thought it added a super cute little touch on top! Hope you enjoy!

Sweet Valentine
We made this sweet card at a recent stamp and stack....I think it just so sweet! We used the En Francais background stamp along the bottom. The scalloped circle was made with the 2 3/8 Scallop Circle punch. The inner circle is the 1 3/4 Circle punch...love how the nest together! I tied it all together with Vanilla Seam Binding ribbon and hung a little heart charm I had layiing around on it. The heart was cut out with a Sizzix framelit. Hope you like it!

Manly Valentine
I just love the woodsy earthy feel of this card. Again...I found the inspiration on pinterest here. That sweet sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. That wonderful woodgrain texture is from the Woodgrain Textured Embossing Folder which was in the holiday catalog, however, if you look at page 36 of the spring catalog it is on the list of things carried over from that catalog so you can still order it at least until May 31 when the spring catalog expires. I can see myself using this alot!

Still Feeling Sentimental
Here is another card using that AWESOME Feeling Sentimental stamp set that you can get for FREE during Sale-a-Bration with a $50 purchase. This wonderful promotion ends March 22....so don't let time slip by....it's already February...can you believe it?! Again, I can't take credit for this idea....I found the inspiration here. I didn't have any of that gorgeous Chevron paper so I used the awesome Polka Dot Parade designers series paper. The striped blue is from one of the Designer Series Paper Stacks. Those stacks are available in each of the color collections and they are full of wonderful subtle patterns like this one in your favorite colors! The sentiment is from the Best Dad Ever stamp set. Oh and the tag is none other than the larger one from the Two Tags Die...if you look back through my posts you will see that I use this die all the time!! LOVE it! During Sale-a-Bration you not only get your choice of something from the special flier with every $50 you spend, if you have a $150 or more order you also get a FREE package of Silver Shimmer paper AND your hostess dollars. Hostess dollars for an $150 order will be $25 and it goes up the higher the order.....these hostess dollars can be spent on anything in any of the current catalogs, however, there are specially priced hostess sets which can only be purchased with hostess sets. So grab some friends and get your wish lists together....as always feel free to contact me with any questions. My email button is on the sidebar and I'll get back to you as quickly as possible.

Feeling Sentimental
Isn't Sale-a-Bration fun? These cards are made using the Feeling Sentimental and Vintage Verses stamp sets....both available for FREE! You get to choose one item for free out of the Sale-a-Bration flier for every $50 you spend on Stampin Up products!!! If you don't have the Sale-a-Bration flier and/or the new Spring Catalog....please let me know and I'll get them to you. I saw this inspiration on pinterest here and I had to make it! If you haven't joined pinterest....you must check it out! So many cool ideas on there you will never be without some inspiration! I haven't even had to look for my mojo as I can't keep up with all the neat projects that I've found there that I just have to make...LOL! On one of these cards I used the Sycamore Street designer paper and the other I just used a sheet of old dictionary paper. On both of these I used that gorgeous Crochet Trim and some Linen Thread! I also used the Tiny Tags stamp set which coordinates with the Jewelry Tag punch .... you know how much I love not having to cut things by hand!

Pool Party Valentine
Isn't this fun?! I saw this on pinterest and couldn't wait to make my version of it. I never would have put the pool party and read red together but I LOVE it! I started by punching a heart with the Full Heart Punch in the lower right corner of my card base and then in the gorgeous Red Glimmer paper. I love the depth of this technique....you have the "window" in the front and then you open it up and you still get to enjoy that beautiful glittery heart on the inside. I didn't have the Hearts a Flutter bundle yet which is what was used in the pinterest inspiration, however, it is now on it's way to me!!! I didn't think I NEEDED it....LOL....but I have seen so many cute things made with it that I had to cave....plus I added a few small things and then I had enough to get my choice of a Sale-a-Bration item FREE!! Anywho....I used a retired set called I Heart Hearts on my card. I also used That's the Ticket from the spring catalog...I knew I NEEDED that one when I saw it.....something about tickets! It coordinates beautifully with the Ticket Duo Punch....LOVE it when everything works together and I don't have to cut anything by hand...LOL! I'm not sure how well you can see in the photo but I added some Pearl Jewels to just give it that extra something.....LOVE it!!

Nursery Volunteer Reminder
A friend of mine asked me to come up with a 2 part nursery volunteer reminder. I found that the scalloped tag of the Two Tags Die fits in the Petite Pocket Bigz XL Die beautifully when I cut the flap off. I stamped one of the doilies from Delicate Doilies on crumb cake and punched it out with the 1 3/4 Scalloped Circle. The pink heart is from a retired SU punch, however, that sweet little red glittery one was made by using the Small Heart punch and the absolutely gorgeous Red Glimmer Paper. I then just used my Crop a Dile to punch a hole in the top and threaded some white satin ribbon through and tied it off with baker's twine! So the volunteer will take the tag home as a reminder and then complete the information on the petite pocket so that our coordinator has all the contact information. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

Sweet Strawberry Crush
Does this not look delicious?!?! I had a few ladies over for a Stamp and Stack and decided I wanted some cute fun Valentine snacks for them. I found these glass bottles of Strawberry Crush and thought how cute! I made these fun tags for them by using the Two Tags Die and punching a circle out for the neck. I cut the cute bottom edge with the Apothecary Accents Framelits by just inserting the edge of the tag in the framelit. That cute ticket is stamped from the new stamp set called That's the Ticket in the spring catalog. I punched it out with the ticket punch which coordinates with this stamp set beautifully.

Happy New Year!
I apologize for being absent for so long. I'm sure all of you can relate....we were just so busy with the holidays and all the normal "busy-ness" of having three kids! I hope all of you are enjoying wonderful holidays and that your 2013 will be the best year yet! I wanted to pop in and share this cute but uber simple card I made. I used some of the super cute papers from the Festival of Prints papers from the holiday catalog and I just punched 1" squares out of them. I mounted them on some Lucky Limeade cardstock which I had cut a border on with one of the Finishing Touched Edgelits Dies. The Happy New Year sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set and it was cut out with the Bitty Banners framelit. That beautiful sentiment along the bottom is from the retired Heard from the Heart stamp set which was just recently on the Clearance Rack for a REALLY good price! I can't believe all the goodies on the Clearance Rack over the last couple of weeks! I don't think Stampin Up has ever had stamps on there....I've been able to get really good deals on ink, cardstock and dies but never stamps! There are some really cute sets over there....if you haven't checked them out you really should as there are some awesome deals which are going fast!
